Maria Canals-Barrera to Host 2011 Imagen Awards!

 It is an exciting day for fans of Wizards of Waverly Place, as star Maria Canals-Barrera has been announced as the host of the 2011 Imagen Awards! And, as if that news wasn’t good enough, the beautiful star has also been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role Wizards. Other nominees include Selena Gomez and Penelope Cruz. The actress, who appears in the new film Larry Crowne, was selected to host the event which celebrates the Latino community in television and film.
